The invasion of smartphones wouldn’t be complete without some pocket types. Galaxy Pocket is one such example – small and budget friendly Android handset. The smartphone gets its name from the fact it has a small 2.8-inch display and a ‘slim’ 12mm profile making it portable. It has Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and an upgraded TouchWiz user interface.
The Galaxy Pocket has a 832MHz processor, 3GB of internal storage and a 2MP rear facing camera. It also has built in WiFi, Bluetooth and an FM radio. Storage can be expanded by up to 32GB via the microSD card slot. Samsung has, as expected, included its Samsung Apps, ChatON, Kies and Social Hub features to the Galaxy pocket.
