Microsoft’s income drops significantly. The sells of Widows don’t change the outcome. The reports say that in the first quarter the revenue is $17 billion, which is an increase form the last year. On the other hand, the net income has dropped to $5.11 billion but still higher than expected.
The Windows and Windows Live Division increased their revenue with four percent. This comes in the moment before the release of Windows 8. The main drop comes from the Entertainment department. There is a large 16 percent drop in revenue to 1.62 million dollars, due to the poor sales the Xbox 360 console. The following divisions – server and tools and business enjoy a good growth.
