There are many expectations and twice as many speculations about the newest upcoming Apple concept – the Apple iTV. One of the rumours is that the TV format will double the company’s sales.
The average annual spending per household will have $888 spent on Apple products by the year 2015, according to the Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty. This is double the amount of 2011. Due to the high price of the product and its characteristics like the 61% broadband household penetration, the iTV sales will lead to a great leap in the sales.
This trend would be similar to the effect made by the iPhone release 5 years ago. Back then, the iPhone started with $150 annually and doubled in 2010.
