- Facebook’s Organ Donation Status
There is an old argument about how social the “social networks” really are and what the benefits from them really are. The answer is simple – you can only be active in the social network if you have something to share and you will have what to say and show only if you do something in your life. So, the social network as a basic idea is to show what you really do in your daily life.
Because of this and the way many people abuse with these networks, bunch of people thought that Facebook and similar networks cannot be really useful and helpful. Well, now Mark Zuckerberg and his colleagues decided to try to change that. They introduced special status in Facebook about organ donation. Anyone will be able to change this status and say to the world if he/she can be a donor and if he/she wants that. This, Zuckerberg believes, will help for million lives to be saved.
Is that really the case, or this is some sort of cheap advertising and way to make the website even more popular we will have to wait to see. We will need to see also if the website is really that secure so many people to post such a vital and important information there.
