- Apple’s Rumour
For many people, who do not understand the power of the free markets, the trading of shares is something not very important that can hardly effect them in any way. This of course is not true.
How dynamic these markets are and what sort of money circulate there is something very hard to imagine, but with the latest example of extremely big drop in the price of one of the major companies there, we may start to have some idea about it.
Samsung lost $10 billion in a single day. This sort of drop have not been seen for 4 years now. A single, unconfirmed rumour caused the markets to decrease the price of Samsung. The rumour was published in a website in Korea and it claimed that Apple have bought DRAM memory from Elpida ( a main competitor of Samsung).
However, both companies kept silent for the rumour and it is not clear yet if this is true or not.
