On this year’s edition of CNET, the show was quite attractive when the main competitors of iPad 2 were shown.
The Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Acer Iconia Tab A500, Motorola XOOM, T-Mobile G-Slate, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 are the most advanced peace of technology among iPad 2 tablets. Although, Asus Transformer Prime is more powerful than iPad 2, but it does not support SIM card for mobile connection. Acer Iconia is slick and nice tablet, but like Transformer PRIME, also it doesn’t support any GSM voice communication, thus making it just a multimedia gadget. While iPad 2 can serve as for fun and as for work, many people do realize and saw how, a smart-phone a PC and a tablet are combined and the result can be seen in the face as in the iPad 2, and as in the T-Mobile G-Slate tabled and Motorola xoom.
T-Mobile G-Slate is manufactured by LG, and like appeared from nowhere, LG came into the tablet race with quite piece of technology, with the newest NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. The unique feature of this G-Slate tablet is the 3D video capture at 720p resolution with 30 frames per second, makes it quite attractable to gadget fans. The best tab for me and I must say, which is worthy opponent is Motorola XOOM tablet, with no graphic processor, but with the same speed of the main CPU, Motorola XOOM and iPad 2, can make your choice to be quite hard task. Both tablet models are supporting 3G and 4G connectivity, but with 512 MB of RAM, I think they are both equally good, and because XOOM is less popular the price for it, is cheaper than the new iPad 2. Never the less, with both tablets you can have fun and stay connected while you travel.
