- Sharp’s New Guardian Angel
Apple is the biggest and most expensive company in the world. However, it does not make all of the gadgets it sells. There are plenty of companies that produce for Apple under their patents and then give the already made products to the Americans. The biggest of these companies is the Taiwanese ” Hon Hai”. They own many factories and the most popular among them is Foxconn in China.
Today Hon Hai announced that they will buy 10% of the Japanese company Sharp that is now facing huge difficulties. According to some analyst this major step aims to make Hon Hai and therefore Apple stronger in their duel with Samsung.
How company like Sharp faced this sort of situation?
Well, there are several reason for that:
- The major earthquake that hit Japan a year ago made the whole economy weaker.
- The high prices of the Japanese Yen.
- The constantly decreasing prices of the products.
So, can we expect improvement in the financial condition of Sharp or this is just the first step of the Japanese brand death? We are about to see.
