Days after the update of Instagram that made it opened to Android devices, yesterday new things about the software were announced.
Facebook bought Instagram for $1 billion. This was said by Mark Zuckerberg. The deal will be finished very soon and will make the shares of Facebook even more valuable when they become available on the free market.
An interesting feature about the deal is that the program and the development team behind it will stay independent from Facebook as far as this is possible and the people that use other social networks will still be able to use Instagram.
The application was released in January 2011 and for just one year and 2 months its price became a billion dollars, which is amazing achievement.
