What are Landline Access numbers?
Landline Access numbers starting 08 and 09 are termed as ‘special rate’ numbers because each number has a fixed price. So the rates you see on our website is the rate you’ll be billed by BT, Sky, o2 landline, Orange landline and Vodafone landline; for other providers such as Virgin and TalkTalk, you can get the rate from our FAQs page.
To use Landline Access number there are no accounts to open and no pre-payments; all you have to do is dial the access number from your phone and when connected, dial the full international number you wish to call.
How am I billed?
You will be billed the rate advertised on our website by your network provider for the call to the access number; we, or the suppliers, do not charge you any additional fee for using the service. The cost of the international call is included in the advertised rate. If you are using these access numbers with a mobile phone, your mobile network operator may charge a higher rate so please check.
How to make a call?
Select the country you want to call from the country drop-down menu at the top of the page. This will take you to the country page where you’ll see a list of suppliers, the access numbers and the rate it costs to call that access number.
- Dial the access number for the rate you wish to pay
- When you here the recorded message, dial the full international number starting with ‘00’
